What is The Community Participation Working Group?
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and Honeywell are required and committed to informing and involving the public during the upcoming remedial design and construction phases of the Onondaga Lake Bottom Subsite of the Onondaga Lake Superfund Site. This Citizen Participation Plan (CPP) provides a formal, yet flexible plan for communication with the public during the remediation of the Onondaga Lake bottom. http://onondagalake.info/files/cppfinal.pdf
The Community Participation Working Group (CPWG) is self-governing voluntary group dedicated to providing a forum for enhancing public dialogue, fostering public understanding, and encouraging input and discussion about the Onondaga Lake bottom remedial design
